How do I make a website off ntl? I don't have a clue. Where do I start? All I want to do is put pictures on it, that's it.

Filezilla

You set up the connection to server and just upload your files to the webspace.

Easy as pie.

I don't want anything fancy, just to put pictures on it.

Get FileZilla, it's easily the best on out there...

Someone on here recommended it to me, I think it was Tyla but I'm probably wrong as per usual.

Anyway, it's mega simple to set up ad there's no charge for it.

I've probably used quite a few GB of bandwidth off of them so far and I still haven't got any notices.

The ftp option sounds the simplest but I am not sure if you have to pay an extra fee for that.

Making the webpage is simple enough, and if you are trouled with that there are plenty people on here who could help.

View the link posted a few posts down, if you are going with the ftp option then download smartFTP as its good and also free.

I've got NTL webspace, and I dimly remember it being a nightmare to set up. Check out this page:

http://www.ntlworld.com/help/customerServices/ yourWebspace.html

and see if you can match any of that to the guff they sent you on paper in a way that gets you a website.
