I will decide who has the better argument if it gets ugly.
I will try to use no bias in deciding.(unless you speak about Goldberg)
First on Raven-ous's list:
Goldberg.(duh)
He is a complete liability to the company. He CANNOT(repeat: CANNOT) wrestle. Okay so maybe he is so popular that he is worth keeping around? NO! The fans at Backlash rightfully booed him. Ha.
And, to back this up(it would be nice if everyone who had a complaint in this thread justified it) here is a exerpt from a recent article on The Mayhem.com:
"It has come to light that the Rock supposedly warned the security guards to stay away from Goldberg because "he didn't know what he was doing".
This seems to be consistent with a few other reports that have indicated that the Rock grew frustrated with Goldberg's lack of skills in the ring, reluctance to work on them or take any criticism.
It is pretty ironic that the Rock was the one that pushed for WWE to bring in Goldberg, where as now he has grown tired of Goldberg's lack of ability in ring and his attitude. On Goldberg's showing from Backlash, it seems that the Rock is correct in his assumptions."
What's that last bit?
"On Goldberg's showing from Backlash, it seems that the Rock is correct in his assumptions."
Oh right.
At least someone has some sense out there.
NEXT!
Whatever that is.
I never saw the match, so I am not really that sure.
> He almost killed Bret Hart with a kick
---
Wasn't it a Jackhammer that went wrong?
Anyway, whatever it was, he ruined Bret Hart's career, and shouldn't be given another chance because of this.
He has about 4 moves which he hits fairly well but that's it.
-------
No, he doesn't. He almost killed Bret Hart with a kick, and is consistantly works stiff in the ring, practically beating the hell out of his opponents for real.
He's quoted to have said "If it was real, I'd win, so I should always win."
Yes, but if it was REAL, people like Rey Mysterio wouldn't have a chance. But because he has a little something called TALENT, they can make him look like somebody who can take down the bigger guys.
Although it looks like he won't admit it and I can't see him with his current attitude/abilities staying in the WWE much longer, one day we will switch on Raw and he'll just be gone, I mean I doubt he will stick aroudn long enough so they can write him out.
I really really hope Raven makes a good impression again, he was one of my favourite wrestlers in ECW and I would love to see him involved more.
Now I can't remember as I haven't seen any WWE action for a while (certain people didn't pay their sky bill two months after having it installed again) but they're got rid of the Hardcore title right? Well we need that back and also the old school belts, such as Intercontinental and so on, and also putting the brands back together so there is no split. Just make sure everyone gets the right amount of TV time (so long as they deserve it). The WWE should let some waster people go I'm afraid, or let Shane create a rival company secretly (as I explained before) or do something, there's just too many people!
And sign Rock properly, no bogging off every so often to do movies.
Why push huge fat wrestlers when they obviously have no talent or have lost any talent they once had?
Also, pushing wrestlers before they are ready, for example, Brock Lesnar. Giving them the title is counter-productive. That was why the Intercontinental title was there for. It was a stepping stone title to the main event.
Raven was never really given a chance except winning the Hardcore title 21 times.
Goldberg cannot wrestle. He has about 4 moves which he hits fairly well but that's it. Expand your moveset and I might start taking him seriously.
"Raven has come a long way since the end of January. It was only three months ago that he was being used and abused by an inept WWE writing team that wasn’t even aware he exsisted, and sure as hell didn’t recognise even a small fraction of what the man could offer. He went from being humiliated by Jeff Hardy on Raw, to stealing Jeff Jarrett’s World title within 4 days. For the past three months, TNA audiences have been captivated as for the first time in years, Raven has showed beyond any doubt that he can still wrestle, and bleed like a man! More importantly, Raven himself returned in all his glory, both the character and heart of Scott Levy. With a chance to speak, Raven excels. With a microphone finally back in his hand, Raven is finally back."
Someone PLEASE comment on this.
Thank you.
