At the moment after the aftershock of Perfect Dark the N64 market is extremely quiet and one thing I've noticed is that ALL game shops have made the N64 section smaller, some have got rid of it completely to allow PS2 to fill the shelves.
As a N64 owner I'm beginning to wonder if the N64 has a future. PS is still going, but is it because the PS2 plays PS games?? - I think so.
So if Game Cube is not going to play N64 games....which it won't is it worth hanging on to the N64 at all???
Just because the DC, XBOX and PS2 appear doesn't mean Nintendo should abandon the N64 as there are thousand, no millions that own the 64 bit machine and would like more top quality games to appear on it
DON'T FORGET THE N64 FANS NINTENDO!!!
I prefer the N64 to any other console on the market.
Do I need a reason? No.
I decide for me, I make my own decision, I welcome others, but I choose for my own purposes.
So why write such large passages about why you like it? I'm not saying keep your opinions to yourself, but why and try and educate someone who has made their own decision?
Sorry about this everybody... but I'm getting a bit fed up of reading the same old thing over and over again.

OK so the N64 has never been pushed to its limits....true, but my point was meant to be that thet N64 should be pushed to the limits to get the best out of it before it dies. My point that Grebo Joe saw in my message is Nintendo are
gradualy letting the N64 slip away without giving N64 owners a real chance to see it at its full potential.
Goldeneye, Perfect Dark and other good, solid games were a milestone in gaming history, but the other games that were eiher spin offs or a 'quick game to waste my time with'. My point is, why when faced with strong competition do Nintendo decide to not push the N64's powers, but instead
produce yet another console that will almost certainly enter the market at £300!
I too received a PSX after my N64, but I was happy with the N64, because it came with Goldeneye and ISS. OK so I knew little about games, but hey I liked the N64. Then one year later I began to look at magazines and see the games the PS was lining up. Games like Die Hard Trilogy, Fifa and more. The thing that spurred me on to buy a PS was the look of these games. How does a console that is half the bits of the N64 have better sound, graphics, gameplay and lasting ability than the 64 bit console? It didnt make sense....there I was with my N64, yes the graphics were 'blocky' (ISS) and the games were limited, but I was happy. Then the PS comes on the scene, with smooth graphics, superb sounds (it plays audio CD too!) and a line
of games that made the N64 look like the newcomer.
So Grebo Joe is right to say the N64 deserves to die, but my subtle point was the N64 should be kept alive until we see it in all its 64 bit glory! Yes the shops are slowly pushing the N64 out, yes the PS2 and DC are dominating, but all I wanted to say is I hope Nintendo give the N64 one last try, one last game that will act as a benchmark for the first game from the Game Cube. Before they the N64 sinks out of sight.
Zelda. Perfect Dark. Mario. 1080. F-Zero-X. WWF No Mercy.
