Awesome.

Best value for money game I ever bought. I've had more fun and derived more enjoyment than I thought possible from something costing only a fiver. If you don't have this you really should pick it up. You can get it on the cheap from Amazon and eBay and it's a fair bet it'll bein in a few bargain bins too.

Yup, brilliant game. A lot better than I expected, I just didn't think Free Radical could go that far beyond TS3.

Hated it at first though.

Between Nebrensk and various locations in America. Has a dual storyline, Nebrensk is the setting for the flashbacks, American places for the present.

Yup, anyone can be killed/maimed.

Excellent game, only slightly let down by the lack of replay value.
Why oh why couldn't you play it through again with all the powers learnt at the start?

Best bit's throwing people through glass. I never tire of the sound of breaking glass as you fling a helpless scientist head first through a window, and then proceed to smash him through all the other windows in the room, just for the hell of it.

I won't grow tired of Posessing an enemy and using him as a tool of my destruction either. There's something incredibly satisfying about mowing down your "comrades", un-Posessing and then watching the confused soldier run over to the bodies of the men he's just killed... begin to radio for help... And then be flung against the wall by a ball of psychic energy.

...

Do you think maybe I've been playing this too much?

:-D There's sick twisted sadistic b'tard in everyone of us.

My one criticism of SS would be that it has various graphical glitches, such as such an object-acute camera that it jumps annoyingly when you're crouching near walls. Still, that's what the FP view's for. Oh and also the clipping tends to fail occassionally, which has previously resulted in my throwing a shotgun toting nutjob into a wall. T'was funny... I soon grew tired of his writhing however and wrung his neck from the other side of the cubbyhole, leaving his body lodged in the wall as a warning to others and proceding to steal his shotgun and discharge it in a cleaner's face. Excellent.

Tis a minor complaint though. It's a really fantastic game and has a cracking story to boot.

Psi Ops lets you throw people into fans. My favourite bit was plucking snipers from their high hides and dashing them to the ground below.

Second Sight has the better story. Both compliment each other really well.
