Crime: Lyrics "big up to the man in the ice cream van!"
Bloody awful.
"on the day my best friend died i could not get my carpet clean" made me laugh.
There lyrics are a symbol.
Respect to the ice cream van.

Just saying what I feel. I just think that it's too obvious a point and I do realise that she says that it's obvious too. Don't know what else she could of used instead but there well.

I respect that she writes her own lyrics and I couldn't do better but I just find it funny. Yes I am that sad.

Well I can't argue with the point of me not being able to write.
I'm prepared to leave it at this and let what's said be said.
> She write her own lyrics,
Its a sad, sad day for music when 'writing your own lyrics' is a unique and notworthy attribute for a performer...
Diggi diggi DJ Sacha!
Also, the Strokes kick @rse, why don't YOU stop trying to be 'alternative' by saying they are manufactured.

Ahem. I actually quite like Avril Lavigne, she's quite cool, although can be annoying with all her '4 real' image etc. Sk8ter Boi is a very good pop song.
But i'm afraid that, whilst for the most part her lyrics can be bearable, sometimes there are some lines which make me cringe;
i.e "I like you just the way you are, when we're driving in your car"
And I heard that song BEFORE I knew who she was, and I still think that lyric is awful now, so I am not just trying to be cool.
Of course she wants to Alanis Morisette, though.

Such is the inredible nature of moronic people.

I suppose you're one of those people who think, 'Oooooooh, I'm gonna be cool and slagg her off because it's cool and all my mates do it, at least make a point that has some value to it.'
She write her own lyrics, that's far far more than any of the modern tripe that we get nowadays, even more than what 'The Strokes' do. (I think they're manufactured.)
You read most of the stuff she's writen, a lot of it's actually quite good, far better than anything you could write.
So basically, stop being a mong, trying to be 'cool' and just think normally...
Like Meatloaf's. His new song is just a few of his old ones bolted together.
