What a genius that man is. Heh.
He swung his arm back to push Ole back according to you, he then caught Ole with his elbow.
Watch it again, he was running along, he slowed down, he leant to the right and threw his arm back.
Maybe he didn't mean to hit him like he did but he did swing his arm behind him trying to push Ole and he caught him with his elbow.
It's a red.
His own stupidity, it would have been a foul anyway. Why did he do it?
And you watch it from the Linos view, you tell me that that didn't look like a blatent elbow!
> First and Foremost, Ole didn't just 'walk into his elbow'
Well Campbell didn't swing it AT him...

Which is what I said, except you can clearly see his palm goes across Solskjaer's chest so if he had continued the way he was running (which Sol assumed he had) it would have been a normal challenge.

But he did! Last night! I'm a fan of the player, but there's no escaping the fact that he went down very easily.

I admit Henry was offside, and van Nistelrooy probably wasn't in that one chance, but what's done is done...
Whats the point in denying the obvious?
First and Foremost, Ole didn't just 'walk into his elbow'
I agree Campbell isn't the kind to lash out at anyone and I agree he was fending off Ole, but he DID swing his arm out to get momentum and his arm was too high to try and brush Ole off, if you watch Campbell he does this kind of thing in many games and thats why he's a decent defender, but he mistimed it and he did catch him in the face.
But let me get this straight, Ole is not the kind of player to go down in a hurry ...
You Gooner's NEVER want to admit to anything, even when something is so blatently obvious for everyone to see.

He meant to push him away. Look, try and swing your elbow - you clench your first. His was wide open, and he slapped it across Ole's chest to try and push past, probably a free kick but nothing unusual, we see it all the time from defenders...but Solskjaer darts round the back and walks into the elbow before THEATRICALLY falling (something nobody can deny).
If they play like that away to middlesborough, they'll get a thrashing*.
*Statement assumes that the referees aren't in Wenger's pocket and ignore offsides/give random free kicks in the wrong direction/forget which player the ball came off before going out of play/throw Boro players to the floor to allow Arsenal players to create goals.
If he is then he is a Gooner.
