I am seriously considering getting a tatoo done soon. I have some free cash and a summer ahead of me so I am more than likely to get one. I know it is illegal as I am under 18, blah blah blah, but I can get one done in the 'rough' area of Leeds.

Basically I want a dragon on my shoulder but havent seen a specific design I like. Do any of you know a website that shows generic tatoos that I can browse, I would appreaciate a link very much.

Also anyone who knows a bit about tatoos can you give me a rough price estimate if I have it done (Just black ink, not colour).

Cheers guys

This sounds like a man who has never had to experience, not worry about being ID. The age you are doesn't change the experience. I have had nearly all my best wasted nights out since turning 18, and I never used to get ID before, but it still is less constraining. GEtting completely wasted doesn't lose its appeal as soon as its legal! How would you know? your not 18 yet!

Hm. Thought about it but not really sure what design. Definately something with a meaning, but not one of those tacky Chinese designs. Sorry to anyone who has a chinese design.. just not me :D Will be waiting though 'til the 20s..

Oh I wouldn't advise going to the first two places. You must know so little about the areas that you don't even know how to spell Chapletown and Harehills :)

Castleford probably isn't that bad but knowing someone who knows someone is not always a serious recommendation.

If you end up going for something I would try the Henna type first, permanent ink isn't something to scar yourself with if you are going to change your mind.

Anyway, whatever you decide, enjoy.

You can get them done up in Chappeltown, Hare Hills or Castleford. Castleford isn't too dodgy but my cousin knows the guy who owns a tattoo parlour there so I can get it done with no questions.

If you go to a dodgy place in Leeds you'll probably die

Yeah, go for it.

You really shouldn't get a tatoo done so young - wait until you finish growing. If you don't think that'll matter, at least if you wait until it's legal so you can go to any parlour, not some dodgy back street place with dirty needles and poor artists. Find people who've had work done and go on recommendations, if it gets messed up you're stuck.

Plus, a dragon? Come on! Waiting may also change how you want to scar yourself.
