Time travel is the process of going forward or backwards in history as we all now. However many of you are completely unprepared to handle this huge responsibility, but fear not my fellow computer junkies. For I have composed this layman’s guide to time travel. This guide will teach you how to avoid those worrying little paradoxes, how to maintain the space-time continuum and many other time travelling delights.
Chapter 1 - Paradoxes
Paradoxes are a real bother; even Albert Einstein himself dabbled in time paradoxes and created many different theories. The most famous of his theories is the Twin Paradox. If one twin stayed on Earth while the other twin went on a rocket ship into outer space at near the speed of light according to Einstein's theory of relativity, the twin who went into space will not age as much as his identical twin brother on earth! Since he is travelling at such great velocity time itself slows down. This is often called a time dilation. Now this may seem like a great way to cheat aging however losing everyone you love as you stay young and beautiful if not what I would call fun. The only way known to man to maintain a stable time dilation field is to maintain a close proximity to a Black Whole or a Quantum Singularity, as it is more commonly known in the scientific community. However, if you get pulled into black hole you may never live (presuming you managed to stay alive while getting into space). In the end it comes down to this simple fact. Paradoxes such as this one I have chosen to make an example of are a menace. They involve tampering with time itself, which alters the very course of history itself.... DON’T GET INVOLVED IN ONE.
Chapter 2 - The Space-time Continuum
The Space-time continuum is basically the history of everything (future and passed). It is all around us and everything we do in life affects it. If you were to go back in time and say step on a creature coming out of the sea then you may have just killed one of the very earliest forms of land life. This tiny little mistake has just erased an entire being from existence. That could have been the very life form humans evolved from and now another form of life will crawl onto land first and our entire history will be changed. If however you had a plan to change the past for the better I have only this advice "You're mad". If for example someone went back in time to eradicate the Black Death. This would potentially save millions of lives but would have other effects as well. The Black Death came about as an early form of germ warfare. Without that small advance many wars would have been lost. We may all be speaking French in the future because of this. Time is a tricky business with many possible outcomes that can never be predicted. DON'T MESS WITH IT!
Chapter 3 -Space-time Distortion
This is a highly localised rift in the normal space-time continuum. This distortion causes a "time loop". If you are ever caught in a time loop it could last for a varied amount of time and there is no way known to man to stop it (as it has never been discovered...or has it?) You see you could relive the same day over and over. This time loop would be localised around your immediate environment. However what if the earth was in a time loop? We could be reliving every thousand years over and over. Each time our history would be changed slightly and we would have no recollection of anything that we had done in any of our previous thousand years gone by. Space-time distortion may be affecting you right now. You wouldn't even know it but it could be. Time-loops allow you to relive a time period however they do not dictate what you do in that time. In one time you could go to the cinema instead of going swimming. This leads us on to the next topic "forks in the continuum".

In all of our lives we make choices. "Should I go to her party or do some homework?", "Should I go upstairs or downstairs?" etc. These are all tedious and boring questions that have very simple answers that can have massive results on people’s lives. For example, in my first question lets just say you decided to go to the party. Lets say for the sake of argument that at this party your friend’s cousins from out of town makes an appearance. You fall madly in love with her and eventually you get married. The only problem is you failed your exams and work in burger king now. Now lets do scenario 2. Instead of going to the party you stay at home and revise. You do not marry this woman; in fact you never even meet her. A week later you get your exam marks back, HUZZAH you've passed with flying colours, you go to university and become the next Bill Gates. In this scenario this person has taken another "route" in their life and they both have affected their lives in massive ways. These can be represented as a "fork in the road" however no one can predict any of these changes or even know when these choices are going to occur so it can never be used to control your life. Your life is a matter of luck, most people try and think things through but the fact remains life is totally unpredictable in some areas.
Chapter 5 - Conclusion...or is it?
To conclude my guide to successful time travel I will simply say this. There are thousands of ways for you to destroy the time-line (space-time continuum) but in the end you simply have to do your best. I have told you the main dangers and have told you how to think of these changes etc so it is up to you to preserve the history of the universe. Stay safe! Not if you have a device at the other side that can resequence your matter as you come out the other side. When you go through a worm hole/ black hole/ Quantum Singularity your matter gets broken done into it's most basic form and comes out the other side. If you could resequence it on the otherside you would survive. For all we know it could resequence it on the other side anyway. If you could resequence it on the otherside you would survive. For all we know it could resequence it on the other side anyway. No one has ever gone through and come back as matter can only flow in one direction in a worm hole/black hole/ quantum singularity.

No. Three sucks.
Doesn't suck like, say, AI, but it's noway NEAR as good as numbers 1+2. Getting rid of the classic theme and replacing it with a western one doesn't help either. (yes, I know it's a western film, but that don't make it right)

3 didn't suck. They were all good.
Yeah, I got myself the trilogy, watched them all twice now. Brings back so many memories of the golden age of cinema - the 80s (except #3, which came out in 1990, but that sucked anyway)
