I got a letter off my Uni this morning saying that I've been charged £15 because my direct debit didn't go in on time. My DD was set up for the 31st March, but my loan doesn't go in until 28th April. You work it out. It's almost like they did it on purpose to get this fee off everyone. I can't afford the £366 they want yet. I can't even afford the £15 they're charging me now. And to top it all, the direct debit agreement is now broken and I have to arrange a way to pay it, even though they knew the money wouldn't be there. And if I don't? Another £75 on top! I tells ya, I spend as much time filling in forms as I do actually getting an education. Harumph.

I can't help but feel that I've been totally done-over by my Uni. They KNEW that I, and many other students, wouldn't have the money on that date, yet they still tried to take the fees a month BEFORE the loans is due to go in. Now the Uni is going to be receiving loads of extra £15 bonuses just for being underhanded. I'm peeved.

Maybe not but you have to be a U.S. Citizen that was born in the country.
And you need a father who was a former President and allies in the oil companies.

Actually, I think you will find you need a degree is Circus Studies which is three years and further more if you want to earn real money you will need to gain a four year masters degree in Insane Stunts. And let's not forget Biology if you want to work with animals such as Lions as well as a Vetenary Degree. Or you could sleep with the Circus Master...

No loan for a masters, you need a rich family or sufficient genius and the right area of study to get funding.
I'm looking at a post grad course (not masters) I'll need to go into particular work. It's the mickey-mouse equivalent of a course with £7 grand fees. Since the real course is too expensive I'm riding in the cheap seats for a second rate qualification, and I'm not even sure how I can fund that... :^S

It's a privilage I tell ya
