Can't you do it now? Can I have a free one?! I hope they are cheap, I will pay £300 but i think that they should eb no more than £200 really.
The Game
However Microsofts X-box being released last gives it some problems, one we have no idea what sort of gamer/person theyre targeting, so theres little interest in it!
Computer owners wont by it, unless it can play exsisting PC games well, most of them will already have a powerful PC anyway, with a DVDrom, superb graphics card etc...so theyre not going to buy this Toy!
That leaves the console audience to be targeted, and we wont buy it because we read our PS monthly or N64 or Dreamcast mags....theyre not going to tell us the benefit of X-box gaming are they????
So Microsoft are left with the home market, ie next to the TV in the living room, this will be a hard market to take especially since theyll be up against Sony.
last but not least evryone hates Microsoft!
It's driven demand through the roof... people who dont even like consoles were trying to get there hands on them...
Its made it the console of choice for the majority of the market... who dont know that GC's or X-Box's have even been dreamt up...
And TV programmes reporting the lack of stock have given the PS2 more free advertising than they could ever have dreamet of...
Hmmmm. I was gonna comment about x-box and gamecube, but i really can't be bothered. It's all been said before.
Long live Nintendo!
The Game
Second, it allows shops to use nintendos official ordering system when it is launched. Far better than Sony's diatster!
SonicRav
Knowing Nintendo, the GameCube won't be out here until spring 2002, at the earliest.
