I actually tested out putting the clock on the other side of the room, out of arms reach and I still managed to get out of bed, pull the plug out of the wall and fall asleep again. I am not a morning person.

Have you not got 'multiple alarm capacity' in the Nin household? Mine runs as follows:
Alarm 1 set for 5.30 am
Get up make tea ... and return to slumber
Alarm 2 set for 5.45 am
Mrs DL gets up for work after finishing tea
Alarm 3 set for 6.15 am
Gently reminder for me to become more alert
Alarm 4 set for 6.30 am
Car needs taking out of garage for Mrs DL's journey to work
Sounds needless, but it works :¬)
don't ask about the car, but during the winter this 'pattern' is essential!

Strange, you should be able to ... but wouldn't bother installing it full-stop, anyway! Crysis Warhead, far better :¬)[/i]
Well gee, I've already removed the cellophane[/i]
Must have had yet another 'mental lapse' ... Crysis2 is an EA game and as such will only install through rubbish Origin, for which you will need an EA account :¬(

I'm the opposite, alarm set for 6 and I'm crawling out of bed at 6.30am. I'm more of an evening person.
Dan Wheldon has been killed in a crash at the Las Vegas Indycar race.
Open wheeled racing on ovals has always been very dangerous but saying that all the guys in that sport are fully aware of the risks they are taking (same goes for the Isle Of Man TT). Perhaps now Indycar will have to be looked at in the same way F1 was a few years ago? But whatever is done to improve safety in that sport I can't really see how having open wheeled cars bunched tightly together traveling at over 220MPH, inches away from concrete walls could ever be made 'safe'. Same goes for bike racers who are hit by following machines and rally drivers who crash into things like trees. It's sadly a nature of these sports and while things can and have been done to improve safety these risks will always be there. Still, this is very sad news.
So dark when I left, but today looks like it should be quite nice later here.
@GP - saw that crash and heard he'd been critical, Indycar can be vicious.
