Back at work today, albeit from home. Having to take breaks every so often though. Hopefully will be sorted completely by next week.
after almost 7 years in my current position, today I have the pleasure of proving to my employers that I'm not an illegal immigrant.
Morning guys,
Just read this about fluctuating broadband speeds at different times of the day. Quite interesting, some tests reported speeds by certain providers in some areas dropped by half at peak times...

Morning,
Some ISPs are certainly hit more than others.
I mentioned some providers suffering in the evenings in this recent thread - I don't think the original poster saw it though :¬(
Talking about internet forums...
I've been visiting the Google Help Forums recently - what a mess!
I'm only looking at their Custom Search one related to the recent changes I've mentioned here. Most of the posts go unanswered and around half of them are nothing to do with the forum they are posted in! So getting any useful help is pot luck.
Makes me realise just how civilised our Freeola forums are :¬)
[s]Hmmm...[/s] Just read this about fluctuating broadband speeds at different times of the day. Quite interesting, some tests reported speeds by certain providers in some areas dropped by half at peak times. Used to have an Orange connection at work, that would pretty much stop working after 6-7pm. Speeds may well alter slightly during different parts of the day on my Freeola connections but would need to do speedtests to detect it and I am in a fairly rural location served by an antique BT exchange.
This is true, though the pain makes it more difficult to rest. This is the problem with getting older and all the perils it brings, as I'm sure you are well aware. It's also my second operation this year, after the first didn't work.
Maybe this is why, pb :¬) You're meant to be "having a rest" ... not fretting about the 'busy nature of these Forums' :¬P
Supposed to be back working tomorrow (albeit from home). Not sure how much I'll get done though at this rate.
Need breakfast, so that's what I'm going to do, though at the moment I keep getting interrupted by the doorbell and delivery people.

Possibly. It was certainly painful enough.
Catching up on TV I'd recorded while waiting for wife to bring kids back from school. Haven't seen the outside world since Friday.
About time you had a rest! And you've not missed anything anyway :¬)
