Looking at next week's forecast, no snow and fairly mild for the week.

Looks like we have had the end of the snow here (he says...although too lazy to see if we have any forecast...)

Some quizzes are worth fighting with the quizmaster, although I'm sure if we argue with Warhunt there will be hell to pay!

Just spent the weekend with my girlfriend. Probably a strange request but thought I'd be seen to be making the effort with her family and suggested we see her parents. I think I've been accepted by them - I've been invited back!

...and this is the sort of reason I lose quizzes!

Hate that question, should have specified the type of desert. Both the Arctic and Antarctic are both larger deserts than the Sahara

Speaking of snow and deserts, we had a pub quiz question a few weeks back. Simply, "What is the world's largest desert?", to which all replied the Sahara, apart from me who knew it was Antarctic, as well as the Artic being bigger than the Sahara as well. I was overruled, and the quiz master said the answer was Sahara, but I couldn't be bothered arguing as our team had decided on Sahara anyway.

One to keep note of though.

I can understand their disappointment pb, but the Sahara does have and has had snow ... if rather infrequently :¬) Anyway, snow is a 'child' thing and it'll be with you soon :¬)

I've been playing in the snow all day: another snow picture

Just come in for a warm up and then one more sledge session before it gets dark!

The little rat of a next door neighbour was up until about 4 this morning shouting at his console with his friends. My mum ended up ringing the police on the sod as it's about the 4th time it's happened in the past month or two. They pretty much can't do anything as it's a council matter. The officer forced all his mates home though which was quite funny considering how cold it was. He suggested we contact his mother, but they don't seem to live there, the kid just uses it as a party house. His mother is ill and gets treatment every weekend, so it's a pretty weird situation.

They don't even own the house, the neighbours we've had for about the past 5 years recently moved out, and it's their cousins. Probably going to talk to them about the problem.

Watched Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy last night, thought it was alright if a little slow paced. Wasn't as good as Tomas Alfredson's last film (Let The Right One In) IMO.
