I must stop meeting myself like this...
I get shot down for those sort of Requests though, but the staff can't complain of the forums are dead.
It is quiet though pb ... have you 'locked' the door? And where is Machie? Anyone any news regarding his son's problem, the op should be soon.
Also 'party tea' soon ... eldest son was born at 7.31am today ... and it was snowing!!
Lovely sunny day here, so far. His brother and daughter-in-law + 'soon to be born grandchild' (got two weeks left) will be arriving shortly. Let the party begin :¬)
7 hours and 50 minutes after my last message, here I am again.
Pedantic, eh?
Brilliant :¬)

So you DO care? That's awesome, personally I couldn't care less about the torch passing within a few miles of here.

Sorry Chas. With all the testing we have been doing this week, I'm in full spelling pedant mode.
Pedantic, eh?
WEEELLLL...... Here goes! (deep breath)
1) Jewish ancestry... colloquialism equal to "I should be so lucky" and the likes...
2)American English, and now an accepted form of the phrase, often associated with continuations such as "if I were dead"....
3)accepted written format, used by such authors as Stephen King, Stephen Donaldson, James Herbert....(that's English AND U.S. writers...)
4)BOTH versions are accepted and accredited in the English dictionary, originating as far back as the mid 1600's in many English speaking cultures...
Just thought you might like to know...:-)
edit...
Just in case you missed it, I'm one stage worse than pedantic, I'm obsessive... Sorry Butch!:-)

What does everyone think about the route for the Olympic Torch? (www.bbc.co.uk/2012) Anyone getting it come past their front door?
Afternoon all ... busy again I see ;¬)
Just had a quick look through the listings and the closest it gets to our village is 7 miles away ... so a peaceful day in early July :¬)
Olympics?! Here?!
