Found out last night that the film The Cabin In The Woods is nearly 3 years old! Apparently the studio wanted to convert it to 3D post-production and Joss Whedon & Drew Goddard (producer & director) wouldn't allow it so the film has basically been sitting on a shelf somewhere until they agreed to get it released it in the format they intended it to be shown. I wonder how many other films are currently sitting in limbo or do most film makers just buckle under studio pressure to let them mess about with their work?
