Just been shopping in Derby, there was a massive fire in the City Centre opposite the Crown Court during the night, a number of shops have been destroyed and the whole city seems to small of burning at the minute even though the fire is now out. The main road to the bus station is closed which is going to cause chaos today.

Yep - absolutely chucking it down here and a thoroughly miserable day here today.
Clearly still cool in the shade since the frost on the shaded half of my street hasn't melted yet. However, my stray cat friend said it was warm enough for some sun bathing before Iunch was served.

Sunny and dry here - do I win?

Finally managed to get the lawns mowed so it doesn't look like I live in a jungle anymore. Beautiful day here all day and still blue skies and a balmy 14 degrees at the moment.

Morning,
today I appear to be a doorman for the cats. Between my 2 and the stray having had 2 breakfasts by 8:30am, I have been constantly opening doors.
In other news, I have been using my courtesy phone from Vodafone since mine is off for repair. It is a more basic Android phone but I have to admit, for what I use my phone for these days, my own phone doesn't justify the huge price difference. Sure my 2K screen is sharper but it isn't night and day. And I was browsing the internet last night and can't say any difference in performance was noticeable.
I always get asked for advice on phones and tech and always the first 2 questions to them are;
What is your budget?
What do you really need it for?
Of course I rarely listen to my own advice, but then I'm both a tech junkie and a massive user of games and tech to its limit. I don't think I could go back down to a simple smartphone (not quite the oxymoron it sounds!) as I do make the most of my phone (currently S7 Edge) and the same with all my other tech. I think time and money are my biggest hurdles!
