Morning.

Feeling the after-effects of the Man vs Food challenge we were set yesterday.

1lb Burger (proper meat), chips and coleslaw.

Not only did one guy manage this, but he ate the restaurant's 'Heart Attack' dessert as well, a huge mix of brownie, ice cream, M&Ms, cream, sauce and other stuff usually meant for 2 people.

Needless to say, I never even finished the dinner.

Don't do it Chris, the 9 -5 world sucks! :([/i]

Sorry pete ...

If you need work ... then it doesn't ...

If you're stuck at home with no additional income ... then it doesn't ...
If there are no jobs available and you need work ... then it doesn't ...
Your age may be against you ... then it doesn't ...
Your experience may be against you ... then it doesn't ...

Work only 'sucks' when you've got it, because 'work' prevents you from doing what you would prefer to do because you've got the money to do it because you've got the work! If you see what I mean ... a perpetuating circle ... you either put up with your 'good fortune' or 'shut up' ;¬)[/i]

And the voice of reason speaks. It's certainly true that work can feel like a drag unless you're lucky enough to be doing something you love, but it's necessary and actually helps you appreciate your time off.

Why, thank you Chris!

Just about to go out to lunch. Looks like my 3DS has run out of power though, just as I was about to take it to get some more streetpass puzzle pieces.

Morning again.

No good, feel so tired again today. More coffee needed.

How is everyone else doing today?

Morning.

Well, despite being up till 1am for the F1 and then getting up at 6am this morning for work, I don't feel too bad (yet).

Need to stay awake, I'm off to see Prometheus tonight on our local cinema as they do a cheap ticket for all films on a Monday. Heard plenty of mixed reviews, but it seems to be due to most people thinking this will be a full blown prequel to Alien, which it never was.
