It's eased off a lot now, but last week was pretty bad. Wales seemed to be getting the brunt of the weather last I heard.
It wasn't quite up to the levels that Machie faced in Tewksbury a few years back though! Can't believe that was five years ago, how time flies.

Thanks pb, Mrs DL was very happy with her 'purchases' especially the ones destined for granddaughter. Driving conditions were horrific but perhaps not as bad as around you in Exeter at the moment. We've escaped the 'flooded garage' so far but I do know how it feels to be on the end of a deluge ... 4 floods within the last 10 years.

Morning all ... back in one piece from a glorious day in France. Bright and sunny, but windy. Can't say the same for the drive down or back for that matter....torrential rain all the way...6 hours and 380 miles...slightly knackered now!

My work PC seems to be struggling to even move the mouse around the screen this morning. A reboot seems to be in order, but it probably needs a full re-imaging to get rid of anything that might have been added recently and start from scratch.

Wondering if X-com will run on my PC or not. I'm going to have to switch the PC on at some point soon to find out. It seems to be in a lot of sales recently.
In other news, just had the first meeting to kick of the preparation for next year's Exmouth Festival Children's Tent. We've got children's books as our theme, so should be easy to come up with ideas.

Roads seem a lot clearer today. No problems like last week here, which is good because I don't think I can cope with being sat on a bus for another 3 hours.
Anyway, I seem to have got in to work, but it's pretty empty in the office today, about half as many people as usual. Maybe they're all in later or just not bothering at all.
