You've got to be in good hands Nin. My eldest son, probably your age, has a defective heart valve ... only works one way! When you listen to his heart it sounds like 'water sloshing in a bucket'. In the meantime, he still has a very active life ... football Saturday and Sunday, out with the 'boys', teaching children excluded from main stream education etc etc. He's very aware of the problem and faces it head on! Tomorrow should be more about what they do know, that there is some kind of issue with my liver and that I'm either overworking it (unlikely as I don't drink) or that it's not working properly for some reason.

Chris, remember Mrs. Doyle & the sarcastic priest in Father Ted?, well that's what I am like trying to understand women. They should come with subtitles which translate what they say to what they really mean. Here's an example from earlier today:
What my Mrs. said:
''Oh don't get me much for Christmas this year, we can't really afford it and we do have other things we need to spend our money on''

Ask yourself, how do you approach them and how do you feel towards them ... leave the analysis until you know them better and get a chance to read the situation better.
