I think it'll be OK in a sense. I had a heart X-ray and my feeling is that if the scans had shown what they were looking for, the surgery would have phoned me right away. Tomorrow should be more about what they do know, that there is some kind of issue with my liver and that I'm either overworking it (unlikely as I don't drink) or that it's not working properly for some reason.
You've got to be in good hands Nin. My eldest son, probably your age, has a defective heart valve ... only works one way! When you listen to his heart it sounds like 'water sloshing in a bucket'. He has been monitored every year for a few years now, but the time has come when an operation is going to be necessary. In the meantime, he still has a very active life ... football Saturday and Sunday, out with the 'boys', teaching children excluded from main stream education etc etc. He's very aware of the problem and faces it head on! You'll be fine...wishing you well
Sorry to hear that. It bites that every time the body is scanned or whatever it's for something bad. Imagine you got your results for it to be revealed there was a diamond the size of your fist growing in your buttock. That would truly be a better kind of life

"Fine"
When you hear that, you're in trouble. Probably because you've dared to try to have a rational argument and won.

What my Mrs. said:
''Oh don't get me much for Christmas this year, we can't really afford it and we do have other things we need to spend our money on''
Translation:
'' You had better get me craploads of expensive stuff if you know what's good for you matey boy''
Hope this helps!
Nin, hope everything is OK.
I just can't read girls at all. I can't tell if they're flirting or if they're just being friendly. I can't understand how I'm supposed to react when they take their mad mood swings.
The answer to both those things is to wait it out. Wait for them to work out whether they're friendly or flirting.
As for the mood swings, that can be difficult. Things are going to go to hell but just try and roll with it and don't do anything to make them mad. Odds are they'll realise how they're behaving a few days later & if you behaved like a decent guy you'll get an apology.
And thanks

You'll end up insane if you try too hard to understand their 'swings and roundabouts' moments. Ask yourself, how do you approach them and how do you feel towards them ... leave the analysis until you know them better and get a chance to read the situation better. Don't try too hard, if they are interested then they will be more approachable ... but this could go on for days and days! Like I said earlier, 'build it and they will come' ;¬)
@Nin Hope your medical results are all ok.
