I had to come into the office today since the internet died in the area this morning and the estimated repair time wasn't till mid afternoon at the earliest. And of course, Monday is the most inconvenient day for this to happen.

Another Monday! Friday off, though, so I can sort out bank and dentist for my wife as advisory and taxi driver respectively.

It's next Saturday, so still got a bit of time to look forward to that! Needed to sort out invitations, check on availability etc today.

Boy, has it got cold again?!
Sorting out youngest daughter's birthday. She wants to take friends to the cinema so that's a bit easier. There's a weatherspoons round the corner so maybe I can sort out a lunch for them there.

rather pleasant day here today.
I'm having quite an adventure trying to get my next batch of inhalers. Attempt 1 was a dismal failure as the doctor surgery had ignored my request. 8 days notice is not enough perhaps. The fruitless walk back home reminded me I need to move my surgery to one closer to where I stay. I tried again today and success. And then I reached the pharmacy. I was asked if I'd like to wait. I said yes and was then told it would be an hour. After I'd finished banging my head off the counter I decided not to wait as there isn't much to do in the pharmacy for an hour.

Day off from work and was going to cut the lawn this morning, but misty drizzle! Lovely now, but optimising Mrs DL's laptop and catching up on the ironing, so the lawn can wait until tomorrow! Such excitement ;¬)
