Text received about 1/2 hr ago ... can I turn in at 0830 as other staff aren't due until 1100!!! Soft me, but extra hours and 'brownie' points may help in the future.
@pb, hope your daughter's party went ok, my granddaughter's party on Sunday was excellent from venue to entertainer to food ... couldn't have asked for any more.

Bank Holiday Monday wasn't bad. Morning was a bit wet but the afternoon was good enough to take a visit to the recycling centre to remove some more garden waste. Yep, living the high life!
Today has been glorious, pity I was indoors for a lot of it.

Lovely day here today, sunny and warm but supposed to have a bit of rain this afternoon so I'm off out to get a few jobs done while it's dry.

today is one of those days where I wish there was consistency between the public holidays in my company.
The car is in for its MOT and service today and hoping for no surprises.

Lovely day here, sunny with a warm wind. Finally cut the lawn! Intended to cut it earlier, but had to do a few 'quick' dealings on the net...only to find that Firefox had reset and lost all my add-ons, home page, themes and bookmarks! Just what I didn't want...it's surprising how many bookmarks you need to remember to re-install them again...a right pain.
Anyway, granddaughter's 5th birthday party this afternoon, a few weeks after the event, but the closest Mum and Dad could book the venue etc etc. Should be 'lovely'...16, 5 year olds :¬)

Bit of a cool dull day here today but it's dry so I've managed to get the lawns done so I've got the rest of the day free to watch the sport - snooker, horse racing, football, F1, and the premier league darts I recorded on Thursday but haven't watched yet.
That's my day sorted!
