This is the thread for general chat.

Tell us how your day was, say hello or just introduce yourself if you're new to the site.

I found him to be a very negative person, always looking for something to argue or moan about.

Well, to be fair, you didn't really say 'hello'. I was going to say something to you but I had to go and do something so I would have been rude saying 'Hi, how's things?' knowing I wouldn't be about.

No need to try and cheat the swear filter Tampa Bay. We aren't ignoring you, you just weren't adding anything to the conversation. If you had just quickly checked a few messages previously, you'd have realised we were talking about snooker.

We enjoy having people in here if they are willing to converse.

O'Sullivan isn't really that 'mental' anymore, not as much as he used to be. He still gives it his all, even if he's not with it. I think the better players generally come through in the longer tournaments. Ebdon is better over long distances in my opinion. Lee I can't decide whether he prefers the long or short games.

O'Sullivan is still "mental" though, he's also two-time world champion and all you mentioned came down to him losing concentration in the end. Stephen Lee is good enough to win it, i'm not sure he can be bothered anymore. He's been around long enough now to have seen the best of him. The only chance he'll get is if he gets a good draw, if Ebdon can win it anyone can.

O'Sullivan's situation was a bit different though. It was all mental with him, like not wanting to be playing and preferring to be somewhere else.

Lee is probably just concentration. I think you might be right though.
