Did you recognise any of the actors in it? Apparently there were quite a few role reversals. The main badguy was used to playing goodguys but hasn't acted for 10 years and the landlord usually plays bad guys. I like how they picked the landlady. Sitting at the back smoking while her friend was auditioning for the role :D
Well if you like Stephen Chow and his films, you can always try Kings of Comedy though I dont think it'll be released in the UK. Was made in 1999, he plays an actor, trying to teach a young prostitute how to act more like a college girl for her clients. Has a cameo with Jackie Chan and has lots of the same guys who were in Shaolin and Kung Fu.
One scene I loved, he was teacher her how to hug, the camera pulls in and they embrace each other. Then he say "what's this for?" then the camera pulls out and she has her legs wrapped around him. lol
> Kung Fu Hustle = GENIUS! :D
Yeah downloaded it months ago and just loved it, every bit of it had me in stitches. I saw Shaolin Soccer first and this was a great one to see after. Other films I saw were God of Cookery another great film. They're all very different from each other :)
Stephen Chows a great actor and director, really impresses me. And to think he started out on kids tv shows in Hong Kong heh
Any of you Slasher fans? Scream? I Know What You Did Last Summer?
Last movie I watched was Kung Fu Hustle and another one of his earlier films, King's of Comedy. Which was really funny too :D Doubt yo've seen them though @ngel. :(
i always seemed to move in slow motion, the shark didn't tho
Never been really in to Jaws myself, ya big softie.
