I cannot be as bad as I was last Friday, went on a brewery trip Thursday Night.

Quiet night in tonight, Mrs Shadow is out, I am out tomorrow night instead, looking forward to it :)

I think that is the point, it has driven a lot of the users away. I will continue to post on here and the other forum and see what happens over a period of time.

But it is very quiet over here at the moment :)

I know what you mean about the forum changes and I'm not sure they were necessary, but they don't seem to be failing yet, other than the fact that its driven so many users away. I started a thread in this forum which was (perhaps too obvious) an attempt to stir trouble and see what would happen in terms of console wars when the forums were combined. I was pleasantly surprised as everyone who replied was mature (far more than my post anyway!) and discussed things properly - perhaps there really is hope for the new setup of the forums.

I fear that when the next generation of consoles arrive though, the old console wars arguments may resurface. It seems inevitable that combining the forums will cause trouble at that stage, but so far its doing okay. Besides, those who wanted a console war didn't have to go far before to start one, so having the forums combined just adds a "nowhere to hide" element which may make people stop and think.

Okay I'm off to bed now, though I'm still pretty much awake I'm sure as soon as my head hits that pillow I'll fall fast asleep.

aww sorry mate you were planning to go to bed, didnt want to keep you away from your sleep, especially as you have working in the morning :S, sleep well and have a good day, most likely we'll be waiting here upon your return :)
