Depends what you consider normal - what are the chances that the right person for you just happens to live in your hometown or surrounding towns? I get the feeling some people just get together purely out of convenience. What matters is that you clicked. I can appreciate you don't want 20 questions every time someone asks you though, so fair enough chief ...

Yes I think you said about meeting her through a mutual friend somewhere on the forums before and it got me confused. Shame on you :P Whenever anyone asks me how I met my girlfriend I'll just tell them she was my mail order bride :) followed by a swift beating by her I imagine.
