I was hoping being the *winner* of the "Who is Rainbird Challenge" was going to get me somewhere ;¬)

Well done Mr Rainbird Jr. on your 'GAD' win.

Afternoon all,

Pretty warm out there. Went to the garden centre this morning and had to do a fair bit of walking, despite my gout playing up. Resting my foot now, but should really be outside. I need to see about getting some chairs for my patio, really.

Yeah mine have limits because they went through a strange where they were never off them. Although to be fair they do mathematics at school and they get to use it at home too and they go on that alot too. I Dnt mind them on tablets etc... so much if they are learning :-)

I have to limit my kids game time otherwise they'd be on them all day. They spend enough time on iPads as it is, mostly Sims Freeplay.

Yeah I have my handful with kids off school. Although when we're out and about they are wild Monkeys. At home they seem to just be xboxing. usually minecraft and fifa addicts but they just got that Tererria free download. So that's what there into at the minute. Now my daughter wants xbox... lol

Evening DL.

Yeah, a lot of these places are so expensive now.

Lucky we don't go to them because most are so far away.

We live 35/40 mins from Drayton Manor Park aka ThomasLand so that has to be factored into the equation but also factor in a nearly 3 year old that has been told by her parents for the last month that that is where she's going ... and you can 'see' the situation!

Neither of them had actually checked the cost until I asked last night!

So today's revelation has made them think ... it has to go ahead now, but as parents, they may now realise to 'keep it shut' in the future ;¬)
