Hungover.
Too much expensive red wine at a company do. 27 people invited, 7 of us turn up! Obviously that reduced headcount increased our personal drinking budget so we started from the bottom of the wine list rather than the top.
However, I'm now feeling very rough indeed and it didn't help that I had to get a 7am bus in this morning.
Managed to play COD4 last night and only got kicked once, but i was leaving a game if i had loads of points in fear of losing them lol. But i was playing at like 9:30 at night. Tried once last attempt of help in tech forum if not might have to call activision see if they know!?
Looking forward to the england game tonight, hopefully we can get a win and secure a place in the World Cup!!
Only joking, i really liked the demo, never played Stranglehold but might pick it up as it is rather cheap.
Mini Ninjas might be a bargain bin pick up for me, but i think it would provide some fun for a while.
I thought the demo was ok, myself. I'd like to try out the full game anyway.
Just looking, what is everyone's thoughts on Mini Ninjas, the demo was ok, but could be fun and i do like being a Ninja lol
Riot Shield user, Sniper and Ammo man. Awesome.
MW2 is my next target, so excited about it, everything about it looks great. I really hope the connection issue i have on COD4 will be gone by then!
Basically you can play online in a group of 2-8 playing against NPC's in a common mission. There are 6 maps and 9-12 different missions per map.
I play as a medic, where your main weapon is a plasma beam cannon thing, that absorbs enemy life and sucks into yourself. This enrgy is then stored as well into secondary fire, which you shoot out in a one of shot, that regenrates any flesh it touches. So heal people by shooting them basically.
Soldiers then have a massive chain gun, and the secondary fire throws a plasma shield up which deflects any incoming damage that hits it.
Spec Ops are like snipers with heavy burst rifles, and the secondary shot is a spark that hits everything in the area. They also throw ammo out to other players instead of using grenades.
SO it becomes like a use the 3 classes to overpower the hordes of enemies. So much fun, its cruel :D
Sorry to ramble on
I will be back on Call of Duty tonight, hoping not to get kicked, but on the plus side if i am playing awful and got like 3 kills 20 deaths and i get kicked, it does not show lol
