hm. I'm dubious whether any virus can prevent safe mode on boot up. Could be wrong though.
Nope this virus is a pretty nasty one - prevents you from going into Safe mode and also installting any programmes so no programme that can get rid of it.
Computer people have taken it in for a look at - hope it can get fixed quickly.

Surely it's just a case of going in to safe mode with comms, downloading AVG Free and running it? Should get rid of pretty much anything.

Back in the office today, sun is shining and I have a few games to trade in. Not sure what I'll get in exchange but was hoping that InFamous is cheap somewhere.
Looks like some good Free DLC for Batman will be out on 17th, so worth keeping that copy if you've finished it.
