But outside you're more likely to be hit by a car, shot by a gangster, mugged, raped, pillaged etc. Gaming is nice and safe :D

My childhood was a lot like Swallows and Amazons. You kids should be outside playing, not locked in your rooms with your nintendos and record players.

God, guinness is horrible.

EDIT: Ugh, and it's annoying me that I keep scrolling down expecting to see the movies, music and whatever forum and it not being there.

Hah. As long as kids are in bed by 8pm and we've cleared up at least a bit then I get a chance for gaming.

The main problem is that everyone wants to do online gaming so I end up torn between trying to complete a game on PS3/360 and occassionally the Wii or playing online again. It usually ends up with the latter, especially since GOW2's Horde mode and BF1943 came out!

The Wii is mostly safe to play on during weekends when the kids are around, we let them play for an hour or so themselves and they both have inherited my old DS handhelds (well, the youngest shares hers with the wife and her Animal Crossing obsession). The hardest games to play are the non-child friendly Wii games as the console is the only one linked to the main TV and evenings are usually taken up with soaps or other TV catchup stuff.

I'm still only averaging 6-12 hours a week max on gaming though (not including PSP and DS during trips to work and waiting in the car!)

I've had back problems since a young age but that's not what the needle was for. Basically when you're having chemo, they have to check the cancer hasn't spread to your bones. This involves sticking a reinforced needed into your spine and draining off some fluid fortnightly. For some God unknown reason they need you to be awake for it but they sedate you with temazepam, which worked reasonably well the first time. Unfortunately, temazepam turns me into a raging psychopath (as do all sedatives) so I wasn't sedated for it. That was a fun 6 months.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
