slightly more awake than I was this time yesterday. Suddenly found a huge level of contentment in my life - good job, money coming in, no girl messing with my head, Christmas is coming, I have MW2, my works conference (excuse for a drink) is 2 weeks away, Family Guy and Supernatural on their way to me, brand new set of mates (brilliant ones at that...) and my leather jacket came through yesterday :D And cheery as found out my penpal is pregnant!
So all in all, one happy hippy. Although I'm sat at work with pretty much none of the above...Still - I have a nice cuppa and get to leave half an hour early today! Win?
How is everyone today?
Rain, rain, rain. Yuck.
@ Machie - i loved Die Hard 4. It's not quite up there with the first one, that's a classic, but it's a really good action film and has funny computer geeks in it that just reinforce the stereotype (but in a good way!).
How is everyone finding the game so far (should probably talk about this over in the MW2 thread!
Anyway, morning folks, very misty here today and not too cold which is good. Noticed that the forums have been rather full of users and life in the past few days, really good to se and keeps me busy between work and checking back on here!
Anyway,hope everyone is well.
Warhunt, how is your sisters boyfriend now ?.Hope he is on the mend.

Can thoroughly recommend it...enjoy
I remember a time when absolutely no-one would consider buying an FPS on a console over PC.
While watching the Morlocks I wanted to see a clip from The Simpsons where Homer sees them as he's falling through the Earths crusts. Of course that very episode out of the hundreds they've made was shown earlier in the day on channel 4.
Anyway tonight I fancy watching another movie and I trust your judgement as always. As a huge fan of Die Hard, should I watch Die Hard 4? I'm a little concerned that it might be a lot like Indiana Jones 4, which I was told to avoid unless I want to ruin my childhood.
I guess it concerns me because it's been so long since the third installment and McClane has Justin Long like Indy had Shia LaBeouf.
Thank you in advance

Nope. Would be nigh on impossible unless the developer convinced Microsoft that they could use their own servers.

As I don't have a console, I don't have it either!

*sorry to drag the thread back alot :P*
I went the game last night. The defence last night was good i think, Skrtel and Agger played great for the majority of the match. The first goal, well that was the worse defensive moment of the game. There was bags of room and Reina had no chance at such close range. The second goal, was a stunner, but you can't blame the defence, they were in position, he just decided to take a crack and it just happened to be mightily powerful, and bang on target. Reina couldn't have stopped that either. Not as a Liverpool fan, but we deserved more than we got. Birmingham managed about 3 chances in all, and 2 of them happened to go in. I wouldn't say we were unlucky, it's just the fact that they didn't provide the finishes. Gerrard hit the post, ok maybe slightly unlucky, but the penalty (seeing a video afterwards) was a ludicrous call, but overall, i think a draw was the least we deserved.
