Good evening all... from India.

Yes, after a busy old week I'm finally here in Bangalore (on business I hasten to add). Apologies for the radio silence. I hope to be back soon.

Morning, yeah, was pretty nasty out there on Friday and the wind was pretty high yesterday too.

Seems a lot better today though.

Sunday is suppose to be much nicer so that's good new for those of you playing football tomorrow.

Do kids still play football nowadays? I suppose they just stay inside now playing on their Sega Saturns and Amiga CD32s. When I was a kid we use to play with marbles and chase hoops with a stick down the road. Now that's real entertainment.

Yeah, lots of heavy rain and winds here last night/this morning but it seems to have cleared up now and I've actually got some blue sky outside of my window!

Wow we're getting some seriously heavy rain and strong winds here. It's been going on for hours now. I hope pb is all right, he must be getting the brunt of it.

If it's something that you could get into and 'then milk the system' - I'm all for you going for it....as long as you get out 'intact' with something behind you.

I can see why he would be tempted. I'm kind of in a reverse situation, there are organisations offering to pay our entire university fees in exchange for signing contracts meaning you'd work with them for at least five years. Weapons development and the like. Not unlike selling your soul.

I'm tempted as hell.

One of my lads, will be 25 soon, going back to university in January to do a Masters. Going to leave a well paid job, with great career prospects - i kid you not, but seems he has got a bursary from the NHS. A two year stint, all paid plus uni fees and no pay back - not bad.....but will there be a well-paid job for him to come out to? This is a parent's worry:-)

What can I say? The system benefits leechers like me, I'm living on a budget of £50 a day. Don't ask how.

Can't be bad, at university and still able to afford Christmas in Denmark...when I woz a lad......:-D
