Not really, though at least it's not raining.
Just wondered if its something in the 3G settings stopping it, but if they're using WIFI then it would be the phone settings.
I really should go and read the thread, I guess! :)

Not sure about that - if you use the 'smtp-auth' outgoing email server address that you get as a Freeola ADSL customer I wouldn't have thought the phone company get involved.
[s]Hmmm...[/s] I did a lot of research and in the end I saw an unlocked 5800 in CEX, pretty much brand new with all the earphones, stylus etc all still in bags.
I'll write a review after I've used the phone a bit more but I've already downloaded a load of free apps on the Nokia Ovi store and they're all pretty good.

Hi pb - since your 'mifi' thread I've been looking at 3G/wifi phones and the 5800 looks much better value than the others currently available as you say.
I look forward to hearing (reading your review!) on how you get on setting up you mi-fi hotspot using Jokiuspot or similar.
I haven't found any free apps for symbian based phones so it would be interesting if you find a good one.
NB. There's a post in the techie forum Nokia 5800 where a Freeola customer is having trouble sending email via 3G (sounds like authentication problems) it would be good if you are able to troubleshoot this for him. It looks like there are a couple of different email solutions for the 5800.

Even has apps like an iPhone but about a million times less expensive!
GPS, decent internet speeds, WIFI, good music player, radio...
Windy as anything today, hope it gets brghter as i need to go on site for some photos today and also shooting a TV advert on Friday, which if raining will prove difficult!
Looking forward to the weekend all ready lol, but i guess we are 1/2 way through the week and it aint too much further!
Jeez this is boring. :(
[s]You're secretly my favourite staffie ;D
