This is the thread for general chat.

Tell us how your day was, say hello or just introduce yourself if you're new to the site.

This sounds good, 'Son of Rainbird' ... just returned from a round trip including Wakefield and Doncaster and every variety of weather available! Back home, warm and feed ... but Doom3 calls and sleep will be shortly after ;¬)

Hi All!

We'll be launching a blog on the main site soon, with most of the content written by myself, we'll be looking to make weekly updates there.

There's also a new way for you guys to win game a day prizes, by submitting blog articles!

Subject to a little moderation (if necessary), you could have your own articles on the Freeola Blog. If there's anything you think might be useful for others to know, or if you think you've got a great idea for a topical article, let us know or get writing!

If you do decide to put pen to paper, we'll be looking for articles around industry news, online security, tips and tricks for staying safe online etc, anything around being Online in general really.

Hope to see some ideas or articles from our faithful regulars soon!

Sounds like a good idea. I'd be up for that.

Good Morning

Well, more cloudy, overcast morning, but aside from that...

Morning,

so it seems the 3rd party tech support team have said our network is a mess. And an office move is the only viable option to sort the internet issues. All of this means I am working for home for longer than expected which isn't a bad thing.

Morning.

Yep, Dav, been working from home for the last half of last week, though with the kids on holiday from school it was a bit harder to concentrate. Back in the office today, though.

At least I get my £1 boots meal deal with O2 Priority today.

Evening,

an internet failing in the office has meant I'm a home based worker for the time being. I am contracted to our US sister company at the moment so I don't need any of my office's network resources anyway. I much prefer working from home so I might need to see if I can do this at least part-time when the office is back up and running.

I popped in to the office today to pick up a few bits and pieces and I knew I shouldn't have read my emails. I've come home and been doing some work instead of my usual weekend activities.

We've got an orange cat wondering around our back garden. It keeps catching my eye as it goes past while I sit in the study. Maybe moving the desk to near the window wasn't such a good idea!

So Ronnie Corbett is dead now. Another one gone this year. 2016 seems to be the year of celebrity deaths.

Cliff Michelmore died as well ... will the list never end or is it that we remember these people? I certainly grew up with Cliff Michelmore.
