Tired again this morning, but near the end of the week, so all is good. Thursdays are generally a good day.
Getting excited about the weekend - first football match in over a month! Hope we win. We need a win...
Anyway, sent some DVD's back to Lovefilm as they have sent me 3 discs from 1 series and thats pointless, so created multiple lists, sent them back and hopefully get some new stuff soon.
Playing Spiderman Web of Shadows at the moment and i am actually enjoying it, but annoyed there are no Trophies to get : (
Just a pity I have to get up so early each morning.
Managed to "claim back" some time owed to me today. It's all very well working the extra 15/30 minutes to help cover a clinic, but it's so difficult to take it back, even when you prearrange it.
One of the nursing staff asked me if I was the only one that knew how to operate all the machinery today - I'm the only photographer she sees! "Every time I go into your office they all seem to be sat drinking tea and on clothes shopping sites". I explained that I knew very little about some machines and they were all too busy chatting/shopping to a) help me out with the busy clinics and b) show me how to do anything more interesting.
They certainly have a shock coming to them if I get my place at Cardiff. I haven't told them that Mr General Dogsbody may be going yet :p
Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgment
Not sure if this is like the original or what but saw it just came out in Japan!

If it was just the (arguably great) visuals then I wouldn't have liked it, I need a good story too and I think that Avatar has this. The problem is that people still can't get their heads around 3D not being a gimmick, despite films like this and Up providing otherwise.
The real test will come with the home release of the movie in 2D and how well this sells. Of course, with Sony making firmware updates for 3D on the PS3 and 3D TVs out this year in the Uk I'm sure there will be a 3D Blu-ray too.
I got Monsters vs Aliens from CEX as a good trade in the other day, though, and even the old fashioned 3D on that is great on blu-ray with an HD TV.

Sounds like a done deal then. Still have a GAME voucher from Christmas for £15 so that nearly covers it (not allowing for artificially inflated High street prices compared to their internet store, of course).
