I don't think there is any point doing something you are not comfortable with just to keep a friend, if she is a real friend then she will understand. If she only wants to be your friend on a condition then she isn't much of a friend as such... although I could think of worse conditions to have!

True. Why am I such a pain in the BTM and not like a typical bloke. Sometimes think life would be so much more easier that way.
But I'm me and would rather avoid an emotional timebomb where possible. I'm happy just to be her friend, but worried that won't be good enough for her :/
friends with benefits... sounds perfect in theory but it can only end in tears although it may be fun getting there!
Bitter disappointment with the football last night. The only great thing is that our keeper went up for the last few corners. But the emphasis on how bad we really were came from the fact the keeper managed to get hold of the ball and have more shots on target in those 2 minutes than the rest of the team did all night!
Plus I have a confusing situation with a friend of mine. We get on quite well and are quite good friends, but she wants to be "friends with benefits". She is trying to see this guy that she keeps calling her "soulmate"and then she is telling me this. I don't think we could hold a relationship as we are 2 completely different people - she is a massive extrovert and loves gigs, parties etc and I'm more introverted and the less noise, fuss and bother the better. Although she is attractive and a fun person, I don't want to get involved as this plan sounds like bad idea - and one or both of us are likely to suffer in it. But it's finding a way to say "no" without upsetting her feelings.
And I'm hungover. Roll on 4pm...
Had a relaxing night of watching House MD and now sending the disc back to Lovefilm, sent 4 discs back in 2 days so should get a nice big hit of DVD's and Games soon!
@pb, I'm guessing they sold a lot more than they thought they would and decided to end the offer early. You might have a tough time getting that discount, but worth a try.
Tried to order a new fridge freezer with 20% off yesterday. Seemed to go through till the end bit so thought I'd bought it, but no email and nothing on my credit card.
Went to do it again today and they've taken the 20% off before the offer is supposed to run out. Lady on the live chat thing didn't help at all. Only hope is to ring tomorrow and appeal to their better nature.

Thanks, it made me smile. Spent most of the day reading up on this hearing loss and tinnitus which I've also got. A hearing aid may help me out but the audiologist I spoke to today recommended I stick with the plan of going back to the hospital in a year and see what can be done then.
