Nah go for it guys, we need new threads especially ones that generate a response. It's really difficult to get people posting now you can't win GAD for chat posts.

edit: Oh and I used the [?] as I thought 'QOTD - Tuesday 9th Feb' was a bit too long.

Happy to do another QOTD at some point, but planning it is more difficult.

and I'm not keen on that [!] or [?] thing myself, sorry.

Though it does remind me of Metal Gear Solid...

Although I'll miss the QotD thing, I guess if we just post a question ourselves and just whack a "[?]" in front of it - we could still do it - that way we aren't limited to one debate a day

I've just got in and would have been confused if the thread had been removed.

It would be better if the thread had the original title and it was just 'closed' to stop new posts if Machie wasn't happy.

I can't see anything controversial or upsetting in it so I would have thought it should remain as part of Freeola's Archive!

In 20 years time Machie will love to be able to look back at one of his posts... :¬)

One thing I miss about school was not being there over the summer holidays. It was like Swallows and Amazons or the Famous Five, we'd be offer on an adventure in the English countryside. Actually we'd just be down the field having a kick about.
