Normally the busiest thread on the forum is, today, the quietest, odd. No?

Anyway, got hold of a ticket for the Semi Final on Sunday. Up the back, but I'll still be there to cheer on the Spurs!

As it's a Sunday though, all the trains are buggered which means a lot of driving around and faffing about :( Hoping it will be worth it though!

Yeah i dont think anything really hits home till a funeral has taken place. There is at least 3 people i know that have died that i cant come to terms with. Mainly due to the fact that ive not been to there funerals. My dad and he has been gone nearly 25 years. My grandad has been gone about 15 years. My mate a year. Ive been to funerals of others and ive accepted they have passed.

No matter how long my dad and grandad have been gone i find it alot harder to accept.

Morning.

Thanks for all the messages. Apparently my brother was with her an hour before she died and she pretty much wanted to give up by the sound of it. I think it's a blessing for her.

I think it won't really hit home until the funeral which will be some time next week. I've got a full week already so I think some re-arranging needs to be done.

Morning all and sympathies to you pb!

Hope everyone is well and not too bad, nice and bright this morning, so hopefully a hot day, think i will go watch Kick @ss tonight! I have heard good things about it, so looking forward to that.

Disappointing for Man Utd fans last night, but a great game for neutrals! But no chance for gaming with the football and ironing to do, also went and played a game of squash.

Good morning all.

Sorry to hear about your nan pb. Deaths of friends and family are never nice, whether or not it was expected. Thoughts are with you and the family.

Woke up again feeling angry. It's twice in a row now. Moved back on to the beta-blockers that I use to control the adrenaline from my panic attacks. The only thing now is that I feel apethetic as well as angry (very weird mix - you want to get up and scream and shout, but cannot be bothered).

The situation wasn't made any better when the I foundmy bus fare had increased by a pound again. Here's hoping that they can start boarding the bus at the station before the departure time, not have the driver turn up 10 minutes late, decide to use another bus, fiddle about and then leave 20 minutes late.

(and for those google-searching First Bus Group...THEY ARE RUBBISH!!! *Thoughts expressed here are by HM and not freeola...)

@Alfonse, I probably played with yur cousin then (ok, that sounds pretty bad). Pretty good at it from what I can rememeber! I also wondered why he didn't respond to my message :p

@Chris, go to bed. It's way too late for a man of your age to be sat on these forums ;) And does Death even have nether regions?

Deepest sympathy to you and your family pb. I lost my uncle recently, and also my grandad a few months before that. I'd love to give Death a kick in the private regions.

Sorry to hear about your Nan pb.Lost both of my Grandparents a few years ago.It was a similar situation to yourself knew they were very ill (different things) and their long term future prospects were not good but it was still a horrible time nonetheless.

@Hedfix
Don't get me wrong, the professional stuff is excellent, but the delivery from the non-comedians is dreadful.
