Have pre-ordered Avatar with Play.com voucher from McDonalds. I liked it enough that I'm happy to watch it again on Blu-ray without the 3D.

I just assumed everyone had seen a classic like Poltergeist already! I've seen it so many times since I was about 12. Just seen that my local CEX has it on Blu-ray but nothing to trade in as yet.
They actually did some serious research for the film at the time, though it's a shame about the sequels going off the rails (worth watching just to see the spooky rev Kane, the best part about those 2 films).
You can tell that it has that Spielberg touch too, anything he writes (or co-wrote in this case) has a certain feel to it.
It wasn't a bad film!! Not sure if i would watch it again..... i will see when it comes out, might grab it from CEX or something.

Emmie, the Avatar DVD/Blu Ray combo pack is £14.99 : Here if that's of any interest.
Apparently going to the gym tonight, expecting it to suck more than anything has sucked before.
[S](apart from Avatar that is !)[S]
Hope your all well and glad it is friday and the sun is out, hope it stays for the weekend!
Saw Clash of the Titans last night, good film in my opinion. I like the story and Greek mythology side of things, always enjoyed it.
The 3-D is lame as it was post production and not worth the extra money!
Saw Avatar is out on 26th April, might try win me an Amazon Voucher to get it on Blu-Ray!!
That reminds me of the chant towards Kerry Mayo - he married somebody called Kerry as well, so the chant went "There's only two Kerry Mayos"
Feel a bit brighter today, although I am sure the stress of overworking again will soon dampen my spirits.
Sat and watched the film Poltergeist last night and despite the first half hour or so seeming like it was just random scenes stuck together, the story did come into place and it was really good (and dare I say clever).
I was overly impressed with the special features - introducing the world of paranormal investigations and the world of mediums in two 15-minute mini-documentries. I think I may have to buy it just for that!
Well, best be off as my colleagues have arrived and as for the patients... "They're here..."
