Morning all, I've been looking forward to this Bank holiday weekend, although I have quite abit of work to do. I've also been asked to write 1 or 2 reviews for my school's magazine; I'll probably just use ones I've already written. In other news, Penguins won their opener of the semi finals against Montreal Canadiens, so I'm happy about that.

Eldest has parties today and tomorrow. parents coming down tomorrow afternoon too. Going to be a busy weekend. Still, no work on Monday...

It certainly sounds like it alta! Why not get the 'helpful' 4 y/o to look after the 1 y/o? Kills two birds with one stone that way. Although, even with all this going on, it's surely preferable to going to Ikea on a Bank Holiday weekend?

It's been a while. Just thought I'd pop by to say "Hello".
The wife is off to Ikea (grrrrr) today which gives me an opportunity to finish painting out front room. It's not easy to do DIY with a 1 yr old running around your ankles and a 4 year old eager to help.
Also gives me a chance to catch up with some of the TV progs I've recorded, none of which are suitable for children. It might just be a good day after all. :D

Got my copy of Super Streetfighter IV with the rather awesome Dhalsim T Shirt.If I get a decent tan on holiday might just have to shave my head !.Be interesting to see how much it differs to SF IV and it how it compares to the very impressive BlazBlue.Just need to make some time to play it now.

first day of my promotion today... I'm now in charge of the backup tapes. I've managed to take last night's tapes out and get tonight's tapes already. I'm doing well.

one day until the weekend and it is going to be a very long day indeed... work, then journey to the Mall to get picked up to go to portsmouth for an investigation. Finish at 4am, travel back, work out a way home, picked up for football at 1pm and then home again at 6pm. Then possibly a movie night to follow at 8pm that night also. Who needs sleep, ey?

Porridge time in a minute, those packets of porridge are great for bringing in to work.
Then it's off round town at lunch time for a breath of air, I'm wondering whether to pop into CEX or not as I have nothing to trade but always feel tempted by the second hand Blu-rays on offer. Best not, i think!
