Who says we're finishing fourth? :p Even if we do, the better teams we have a chance of playing are Sevilla/Mallorca, Sampdoria, Lyon, Olympiakos, Celtic, Ajax, Werder Bremen, Porto & CSKA Moscow. All of which I honestly can see us beating. Alternatively we could get lucky and get the Norwegian or Greek runners up!

There will be nothing like getting knocked out in the qualifying round to bring you back down :)

A 12 goal thriller at Fir Park last night. Motherwell were 6-2 at one point and a lot of the fans headed to exit and missed a remarkable come back and possibly the only time they would ever have seen their team score 6 goals in one game. With 3 minutes left, Motherwell were getting beat 6-5, they get a penalty and miss but still snatch an equaliser in injury time... the SPL does have it's odd moment of entertainment.

Damn straight!

What a night, despite there being a dozen or so people in the pub watching the match I was the only Spurs fan so was a nervous wreck on my own for the best part of 82 minutes. I also got a few odd looks when I was the only one jumping up when we scored (both goals, allowed or otherwise).

Down to Earth with a bump today though coming back to work. Hoping I can actually get some sleep tonight after a restless last few...

Morning.

Delayed today as I took the kids in to school after they got up late, so wasn't in work until 9.30.

All set up now and used a McDonalds voucher for a free porridge today. All I need is to get a coffee and I'm good to go.

Morning everyone.

Nothing much interesting going on today, have the penultimate lab week of Year 2 starting today, of which we don't know what we're doing until we actually get there in about 30 minutes time. Could be quite interesting, but being Physical Organic stuff, I highly doubt it.

Morning all :D

Treated myself to one of Colin Wilson's books yesterday, Beyond the Occult. He has a fascinating way of explaining things and from my understanding he had a very scientific background, but got drawn into the world of the paranormal. Only a chapter in, but already stuck in. I loved his book on Poltergeists.

Anybody have any exciting plans for today?

Evening everyone. Looks like Tottenham dominating proceedings so far, i'm sure the Spurs fans here will be enjoying it.

Found out that Harry Krota will be doing a lecture-type thing at my university next term. Hopefully I'll be able to get one of the tickets for it :)

You should try BlazBlue online mate,I got absolutely raped on that !.It came out best part of a year ago in the US so there are some peeps on it who are unbelievably good, although they do generally seem to be older than the usual annoying brats you tend to find on the likes of Streetfighter IV & Tekken 6.Still it's a fantastic game and well worth adding to your collections, especially as it seems to have plummeted in price already.I did pick up a copy of Super Streetfighter IV last week but as yet haven't had chance to take it out of the cellophane, looking forward to playing it though. Will most probably pick up Blur at the end of the month (if funds allow) as I loved playing the beta and it's something I can just play the odd night night on as I don't seem to have much spare time at all at the moment.

Morning...oh wait...Afternoon all.

Had basic life support training today. Grabbed a dummy and even though i didn't think it would make it (it had no scalp, arms or legs) I apparently would have saved its life!

Then straight into a busy clinic :/ Fun times!

I have 0 wins online! :)

Then again, I've played just the one game when I was trying it out and it was the first time I'd played it with a 360 pad.
