I just wish they could filter it out slightly. Turn down the volume to save my hair from being pulled out and you can't hear the commentary. Put subtitles on to beath this, you get the occasional word "GOAL" three minutes after it is scored and blocking your view like an itv HD advert!

Still, it's amazing how many of them stopped being noisy after the Green incident...

On the telly? No.

My mate, sitting next to me with one he bought in Colchester over the weekend? Very much yes.

It doesn't bother me too much but my tinnitus feels threatened by it. I do find it remarkable that the noise can last the entire game without a break.

I was more bothered by the lack of entertaining games but Germany changed that last night.

General musings:

Red Dead seems to have held Mario off the top spot this week then.

Apparently windscreen washing is the new deadly curse on the world. Legionaries Disease for those of you that don't use screenwash. Lovely. Is anywhere safe?!

Is it just me that doesn't particularly mind the Vuvuzelas? After watching the Confed Cup I thought I wouldn't be able to watching the World Cup because the noise would irritate me too much, but at the moment I can't say it's bothering me too much (I've only missed about 1 half from all games so far).

The noise from the opening game involving South Africa was much much worse than the rest of the matches though, you could barely hear the commentary. If all games were like that than my opinion would probably be different.

Morning all.

Bed late last night, was catching up with the Formula 1 as had kids around me all the time while it was on. Now feeling after effects. Need coffee!

Interesting MS show yesterday by the sound of it. Still need to get used to the Kinect name (project Natal's new name) and not sure about the alleged look of the Xbox 360 slim.

Morning all.

I agree with you Hedfix...it's either those horns or it's just every stadium has a huge bee infestation!

Back to work today after what seemed a very short weekend. Surprised at my analytics results from the site today, daily traffic is slowly increasing! Must use time between patients wisely and write another article ;)

Those v-horn things are ruining my world cup. Can't stand to listen to that drone through the TV.

They have promised that the new Mortal Kombat will have very gory fatalities. Co-op fatalities aswell I think.
