Dusted off the GBA for my lunchtime gaming today and I'm playing Advance Wars which is one of my favourite ever handheld games.

To be fair we always have those but it's nice to see people getting involved with better topics in this forum too for a change. Almost like old times with all these big discussions going on, I like it.

Afternoon all.

Noticed we're still getting 'one-hit wonder' users who keep starting threads with about 4 words in them. The majority of them seem to appear once and never come back, so it seems a waste of time trying to 'covert' them into full time freeolarites.

Same in the review forum aswell, lots of reviews with 4 lines in there at the moment. One user even posted a game question in the review forum (I say question, it was about 4 or 5 words itself).

Tidied the study as planned yesterday but only got half done. At least the TV is now at the right level and in the corner of the room, so I can just twist my chair around from the PC and see it or play games. Both the PS3 and 360 (plus Gamecube, old Xbox and Saturn) are up here too so everything's available and I can watch Blu-rays here or downstairs.

Morning!

So here it is. No work on a weekday. Day one.

Woke up at usual time of half five but then just stayed in bed doing nothing as not to wake everyone else in the house up (tomorrow the 360 is going on without a doubt!).

Vacuumed the house (well, half done - both the cat and dog are malting, so the floor is like a mesh of fur....tough work!) and checked on the fish on facebook...darn Happy Aquarium...

Expecting to go out with my friend April today, but looks like she may cancel. But I don't overly mind - it's raining cats and dogs out there at the moment so if I get to stay in and stay dry I believe that is better option!

It's all down to luck with cars. My Renault cost me a fortune and my Ibiza was never away from the Seat dealership but thankfully all within the warranty period. My Ford was the only car that never gave me any bother.

Morning all.

It's over three years, so not in warranty. My Ibiza and Altea have both been really good so far, I've had friends with Citroens, Fords and other cars who've had lots of problems within a year of owning their cars so for me VW parts have been good and I like the styling.

Anyway, working from home again so I can sort out some bank stuff and hopefully get the other side of my study tidied later on. Finally got the TV at the right level and in the corner with the PS3 and 360 near it, just need to sort out my books and maybe get rid of some, a tough decision.

Also might have to get rid of my PS3 Rockband drums as I just don't have the space for them.

If it is under 3 years old I would have though Seat would be picking up the whole bil for the ABS.

You can't beat that VW build quality! I had a few issues with my Seat too. The back window shattering and almost covering my daughter in glass was the last straw for me.

Can't believe we're in McDonalds again, after having to pay out £450 odd for the cam belt etc the other day too. Looks like my ABS has gone as well and they've quoted me over £1000 for it, hopefully Seat will pick up some of the bill.

I don't think we'll be having Christmas this year.
