Haha it could be possible! I managed to learn Heart and Soul just now, so anything's possible! Take Five is the piece I want to learn the most though. The Pink Panther and Baker Street are also on the list. I only got it yesterday though, so I'm probably some way off playing any of them yet.
I expect you to be playing Baker Street by the end of the week! :P

Recieved my saxophone yesterday. Learnt a scale this morning, so not bad progress for my first woodwind instrument. Also made some wholemeal bread. About to put it in the oven. Looking forward to 'the smell' :) Oh, and Man Utd and Everton drawing, couldn't have asked for a better result. For Utd to lose it like that is an extra bonus. Just hope the reds can pull off a win against the brum brums tomorrow.

Empire of Silver? No I haven't even got it yet. Currently reading his series about Ghengis Khan. He's a fantastic author. Bernard Cornwell's my other favourite. Can't get enough of either of them.
Yes you are right. I believe Gaius Marius was the Roman general credited with reforming the roman army and turning it into the first professional standing army in the world.
Conn Igguldon also used him in his series of historical novels set in Ancient Rome. He has recently published a new book, although I can't remember the title. Have you read it?
