Evenin' all!

Haven't been online properly for a few days.

I've decided to try out this Minecraft game...saw a video of someone who had made the Enterprise D out of it and it looked awesome!

Am downloading the game now to see if its any good...

Someone has been reading wikipedia. Yeah I'm getting confused about which one burnt down in 2000 because I found the Palace Pier a real disappointment and thought it was the other one that was good.
And I'm 27, how old are you? ;)

Not old enough to have been on the West Pier! :¬P

So when you said:
"Brighton has been crap since the pier burnt down. "
...you were just making it up / mucking about? :¬P

Really sorry to hear that mate,it's very hard out there at the moment.Hope something comes up for you. After much deliberation I recently ended up taking over a large part of our family business.I'm working really stupid hours with much more responsibility for no more money and can't see that changing anytime soon TBH.

I don't think Torres is overrated. He just had a terrible World Cup, and since then hasn't quite returned to fitness and hasn't really been getting the opportunities to score umpteen goals like we're used to seeing. I'd happily swap him for Rooney.

In other news Chris, I played the NHL 11 demo the other day. I had absolutely no idea what was going on but it was really quite fun either way.[/i]

Imo, Rooney is overrated himself :P If it was a choice between Gerrard and Torres, I'd would back Gerrard any day of the week, yet Torres seems to be held in higher regard. His injuries are becoming far too frequent. And all this nonsense about his bad goal record so far being pinned on the production of the Liverpool midfield. Torres failed to score even with the Spanish supply. How does David Villa score 6 goals and play fantastically, and Torres doesn't score 1 and plays aweful? I'd say that was due to the player's personal performance. Liverpool's strongest line (not counting goalkeeper) is the midfield.

And glad you enjoyed it. The rules are easy to learn, and it becomes far more enjoyable once you know what you're doing.

You must be pretty old! ;¬)

I thought it was only the West pier that burnt down?! It had been closed to the public since 1975 as it was derelict so I'm surprised by your comments.

Isn't the Palace Pier still open?

Yeah, it's a pebble beach. Are you serious? There's tonnes of things to do, and the nightlife is amazing.

Does Brighton even have a beach or is it all stoned? I forget but I remember going a few years ago and hating Brighton, it's an old peoples town with little to do. Bournemouth is the place to go.[/i]

Sorry to hear that, don't let it get you down.

How long till you have to go? Need to use the time to see if you can find something else. Do you get a decent redundancy package?
