I'm sort of in the same boat, pb. I am personally waiting until Sony release the first official details on the PSP2 (hopefully this Friday), before I decide upon a 3DS pre order. A few other people I speak to are also put off by the price vs the 'justification' of the thing. Still, I'll most likely pick one up, but possibly not at launch.

After typing up my 3DS preview in the reviews forum (reworked from my 3DS live show coverage with my thoughts and more information), I'm actually getting less keen on trying to get hold of one at launch.

There are a lot of things that are a step in the right direction; single friend codes, better download store, but when I ask myself whether that justifies the price, I can't say it does.

Also, if anyone wants an 8GB SDHC card with bult in WIFI that transfers pictures automatically then let me know. They're about £130 to buy but obviously will be much less than that.

Morning all.

Can't believe that its Monday already.

Still trying to decide whether I want/need the 3DS. I've got a pre-order but would need to sell my PSP and spare hard drive, which would cover the cost.

Morning all...

New timetable means that my group has all of the early starts. Hoping this means that if I start early, I won't have to work until midnight on most nights.

Interesting weekend everyone? I went to a mid-January Christmas meal (complete with crackers!). But then again, I am in with a strange group of friends..!

Thanks to my old man, :)

Not being 'picky' here...but I presume you mean your 'financially secure but rather soft father' here :¬) Ha ha, glad the strat is nearly up and running - a nice piece of kit.

Nah, my BSc project is actually a much easier titled: "Acylation of Ferrocene - Design of an Undergraduate Experiment", the aforementioned is just part of the advanced training module. Looking forward to my year in industry that starts in July, mind, when I can start doing stuff a bit more "properly".

Plans for today involve more work on the advanced training module write-up, a(n extremely) over-due clean and hoover of my room and my first experience of an Indian food buffet, which could be awesome or disastrous.

Gah..Got to decide on my dissertation title soon, don't think it'll quite be as advance as the one mentioned below though!

Wanted to play a game earlier, buuut suddenly went into the "I really can't be bothered" mood. Watched Total Wipeout instead , while multi-tasking with some site stuff. Quite a lot of wasted time, but hopefully today will be better.

Well, the Skyfire browser App on iPhone keeps impressing me. Every Flash video I throw at it works. Ok, so it doesn't play flash games, but videos are a good start. Well worth the £1.79.
