Doing something that I thought i'd never do; applying for a part-time job. It's a library warden/assistant position at my University. I don't have all the required grades, but it says they are willing to take people who are close enough.
Haven't applied for one in years. Last time I was booked for a interview, to be told that they had already made their decision. Oh well. If I don't get it, then atleast I tried. Have a good day everyone!
backing up all my PC files right now. The PC said good morning with a 'your hard disk is about to die' message.
Had a quick glance at the PSP 2/NGP and I am intrigued. And 2 analogue sticks, can it really be true?
Just posted up the NGP (PSP2) news on the Gaming forum for those that missed it.
Personally, I think the PSPGo was a great machine, just let down by 3rd party pricing on the PSN Store. If priced correctly it could have given the iPhone a run for its money. Looking at how well the iPhone is doing as a games platform, it's clear that people will take to a download only platform if its done right.
Another busy day with lots of meeting ahead. Great. Still not feeling good.
Woke up to a power cut which thankfully didn't last long, then onto the Internet to check out the new PSP2 news! It's looking really snazzy I must say; though the lack of price indication is ever-so-slightly worrying! Then again, the system looks great, and I'm so pleased it's using a physical media format and not DL only like PSPGo's sorry affair.
Anyway, I'm going to check this out for a while longer, then off to work to look at broken laptops.
another busy day ahead, hoping that it goes better than yesterday (our group messed up a practical by misreading volumes needed on a pipette...oops...). I have an hour to perform an eye test on a colleague today...I really need to speed up a little - so hoping for someone that is easy - just for today anyway!
And Chris...I may need to call up MS myself. I took advantage of their "One year for £29.99" offer. They debited the £29.99, but they continue to debit my monthly payment... I have to call them as they won't do it over e-mail...but then on my phone contract it costs a bomb...naughty microsoft...naughty...
Thanks! The same to yourself, and everyone else! I've found a few PC/PS1 games in charity shops before, but they're always the same ones. Mainly old sporting games. Hope you are better!

Good luck with the writing! Sounds like you have a very busy day tomorrow, but it might get you into 'the mode' for the report. I always find myself time obsessed nearing a deadline, especially when lectures are wasted due to faulty equipment etc... Anyway good luck once again, going to bed so good night to those it applies to!
Microsoft have yet again given me a lovely surprise. I did not want to renew my Xbox Live subscription, which ran out today. A few weeks back, I was prepared to ring microsoft support to attempt to cancel my subscription, but I turned on my Xbox and was met with a message asking if I wanted to turn automatic renewal off. I selected that I did want it turned off. I've still been charged, and they've renewed it anyway though.
Sony, I'm so sorry for leaving you...
That sucks, but at the same time with Microsoft's customer relations reputation I can hardly be said to be coloured surprised.
Two days left to finish my report and despite having done the majority of the leg-work I have 179 words so far, so i'm a little shy of what I need to do. Annoying schedule tomorrow of 11.15-1.15 lecture, 3.15-4.15 lecture, 6.30 onwards pool match. I imagine that it'll be close to completion, if not finished, by this time tomorrow (Although if not I have until 2PM Friday to get the rest of it done)
Am extremely happy today. Went into town and found a ornament ,which is normally around £20, in a charity shop for £3. My Mum collects and loves these ornaments, so I pretty much snatched it straight away. Do the same for rare games too, just love the rush when you find something !
Wow, nice find! I also like the feel of finding something rare or otherwise interesting in a charity shop, though unfortunately it doesn't happen too often. I have had a few gaming bargains from them though, mostly PC titles but sometimes new or collectible console games. Good luck with the bargain hunting for future finds!
Sony, I'm so sorry for leaving you...
