EDIT: Could also be Torres, Suarez and Carroll up front!

Was waiting for this to be brought up. I was a supporter of Torres last week, and was originally looking foward to seeing Suarez partner with him. But after requesting a transfer, I can't say much more than good riddance. Player's come and player's go, it's the way of football, but some player's have the decency to just tell the club and it's fans they want to move on. Had this happened 2 weeks ago, I would have had much more respect for him. As it is, I say take the 40-50 mil and run.

The way I look at it; if we keep him, we won't have a striker
because he won't have his heart in the game and give his all (along with the fans despising him aswell), or we could could sell him now, and move on with Suarez and Carroll. Have to say though, Liverpool really are showing their desperation. Footballers are bought for ludicrous amounts anyway, but £35 mil for Carroll? We're getting ripped off yet again.

Ah, yes, speaking of tyres. 2mil on the front and 3mil with flat spots on the back. That means changing all 4. Damn.

The words car, MOT, insurance and tax do not sit easy with me right now

Ugh, don't. Mine's not due in for months yet but the very thought of it turns my stomach. MOT's are a money making racket. They once told me my headlights didn't work; so I got home, switched them on, and....they worked perfectly. Same with the "10 pence peice against the tires" hilarity.

Anyway, best of luck with the whole thing, it's an annoyance and a half at the best of times!

The words car, MOT, insurance and tax do not sit easy with me right now...Knowing most of these are due in the next few months and that there is very little in the way of income right now...I'm having the tough decision on what to do with my car...

Probably end up finding stuff to cost me more money, though.

My car gets a free winter health check with the service/MOT and without fail they alway recommend something to get more money from me... one day they will learn it does not work.

Morning all.

Car in for a (belated) Winter Health Check. Worked out pretty cheap considering they top up levels and do a pretty thorough check on the car for £15. Probably end up finding stuff to cost me more money, though.

Morning all!

Just popping by on a weekly visit :p Hoping to budget more this week as money is draining faster out of my account than it does in my shower's plughole (when it isn't completely blocked!). £10 to last me the week...why not!?!?

Managed to get invited to huge celebratory meal for the school on Saturday (I had to sell raffle tickets during the meal, but stayed for a comedienne and live band). Good night out, especially as lecturers and my supervisors were buying my drinks...

Other than that, still swimming in coursework. I'm aiming to get it done as soon as I can (especially as I want to enjoy my last few weeks of the first year without huge deadlines (oh and of course, the time to revise)). When it's revision time, expect to see a lot more of me - I need some intelligent skyving time...facebook never stimulates me...
