I tend to get on average, 3 spam 'bank account issues' emails a day. The spelling is always terrible but I'm disappointed to find the at effort that goes into these emails is deteriorating. There used to be a whole story to amuse me but now it more a case of "error with your bank account, click here to resolve it". If you want to con me then at least put some effort into it.

Edit: one of today's efforts is better though:

"If you choose to ignore our request, you leave us no choise
but to temporaly suspend your account."

Ha ha .... this type of spam doesn't bother me, I quite enjoy reading them. The 'over-the-top' explanations are hilarious and so sincere :¬D The Chubb Europe one this morning actually moved up a level, she offered me a mobile number!

How come I never get e-mails from Nigerian Princes offering many millions for little effort?

All I get is spam, such as the one from Global Mobile Awards 2011 this morning saying I've won a measly $1,000,000. The spam itself doesn't bother me too much, but the use of Comic Sans is offensive.

[the] illiterate COO of Chubb Europe informing me that I have been chosen as the lucky recipient of a share of £15 million..

Ah yes, I know a nice Nigerian Prince also who wants to use my bank account to store his millions tax free. All I have to do I give him my bank details. Sounds legit, right?

Anyway, weather watch: Frosty, which usually means my rust-bucket car door won't open and the anxiety-ridden post woman won't arrive. Great.

Morning,

the snow left from yesterday has now iced over. The car lost grip half way up the farm track hill but I managed to keep going. I look forward to going back down.

Listening to the others, it's like a competition to see who had the worst conditions to drive on.

Going in to hospital in a few weeks, not looking forward to it, Colonoscopy, not pretty. Worst thing is the highlighted 1 in 10,000 mortality rate in the booklet. Argh!

Don't you worry pb, had a sigmoidoscopy a few years ago now and I'm still sitting here....just ha ha :¬D Slightly different but your 'copy' goes a bit further.

I'd also love to get a 3DS, if only for the Zelda game, but there's no way I can warrant spending that much of a handheld console just at the moment.

Afternoon chaps (and chapettes).

Just posted my first blog entry on the Optician Online website as their student blogger. It's knowing what to write and finding time to write it that is causing the most problems!

Had a trip home this weekend and my parents said I looked healthier than I did at Christmas. So to all students/single men out there, the tip to looking healthier is the 5 for £4 Tesco ready meals...mixed in with the occasional Chicago Town pizza, peanut putter or cheese toastie and some good nights out ?

Well it didn't do me any harm at uni, so I agree!
