@pb, now when you recommend people to watch Dr Who, you can send them here instead of trying to explain everything.

Just watched an 'accquired' copy of Outlander. Happy I just 'accquired' it, because it was awful. Such a promising trailer aswell.

Pun? I'm struggling to find one...

Afternoon, all. It is a quite lovely day here in the North East today. It makes me want to go out and do something, but then I remember that I basically can't be more than a minute or so away from a toilet at the moment thanks to my newly-gained kidney stent. The smallest of my three stones made a break for it last Wednesday, which put me in hospital overnight. The good news is, though, that I am now so painkillered up that I am practically invincible!

Afternoon,

I have a review to look forward to this afternoon. I sort of had one last year but my boss opened with "what don't you like about your job" and I used the full 2 hours answering so in the end I didn't get a review as such.

And on the subject of football... what a win for Scotland last night. 3 goals in one game... it's a miracle.

Ah fair enough. I can see your point there. I don't really have much knowledge of football at the moment anyway - this student bubble I live in filters out most of the outside world. I don't even know who is in the team these days.

As for my team...I think this filter is there for the good! 1-1 at 90 minutes...then procede to lose 3-1. Lague 2 here we come!

Sounds like something that should only happen on Football Manager!

On the contrary, I only watched the last 10 minutes or so. No matter how many friendlies England win, I know it's going to be the same run of losses in any international competitions. Not that bothered about England anyway, don't feel any love for the team.

Hilarity would ensue however, so fantastic.

Can't complain with a bit of hilarity in the football world! Although Bristol Rovers are providing just that at the moment...

Talking of hilarity, I've just tried to justify paintballing, in terms of benefit for an optometry student , on my blog. It's amazing how many links could be made between the two!

Exactly my thinking. Although he wouldn't save a damn thing as he would be afraid of the ball undoubtedly. So perfect for Liverpool.

Shame we didn't play him against Chelsea eh? Although you only would've bought him afterwards for £50m+, due to his fantastic skills ;D
