Is he trying to get Sam Frodo close, or Aragorn Arwen close?
As far as I am aware he is neither trying to escort her to the other end of World nor is she giving up eternal life for him. I imagine it will be more of a Tom/Goldberry pairing, but with less singing and dancing.
On the LOTR theme, a friend of mine currently works with, and is trying to get closer to, Tolkien's Great-Granddaughter. I highly encourage this.
Another night of being woken up by eldest daughter not sleeping. I need my pillow...
Errrr ........
You have watched the first 2 movies in one sitting and are actually physically able to wait to see the 3rd? Are you superhuman? 0_o
The 3rd one must be watched immediately. Tolkien and I demand it! (Should be Jackson but foo to him! )
I'm itching to put it on but the other half is having none of it. Pesky woman!

Got The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy through on bluray today though, never actually watched them so should keep me occupied.
Don't be concered about the quality of the first film, even though they were made with the same technology, the first seems to have a worse picture quality than the other 2. Although, that said, you'd have to be quite picky to complain about even that.
I've watched the first 2 and they are really good films, should have watched them sooner. I can't say I really noticed a difference in the quality between the two of them though. Going to watch the third one tomorrow.
